In the United States, ASO’s main headquarters is located in Sarasota, FL. With its 153,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, ASO has established itself as an industry leader in both the medical and retail markets. Our Retail Store brand products are sold under the individual labels of food, drug and mass merchandisers. Our Medical and Industrial Products are sold through Medical Distributors and Industrial Distributors.
On January 1, 2007, ASO announced the grand opening of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Juarez, Mexico, dedicated to the Medical and Industrial Division. ASO’s substantial investment in the medical and industrial markets demonstrates our long-term customer commitment.
Our Medical Division services more than 300 distributors that supply hospitals, physician offices, clinics, long- and short-term care facilities, nursing homes, and other facilities. Our completely latex-free CareBand product line includes plastic, sheer, fabric and foam bandages in a variety of sizes.
In addition to our signature Careband products, we also offer a very popular decorated line, which includes Garfield, Crayons, Angry Birds, Fashion Strips, Neon and Despicable Me.
Through our industrial partners, we supply schools, government institutions, first aid kit packers and catalog supply houses. In addition to our Careband and decorated lines, we also offer completely latex-free heavy fabric and blue metal detectable adhesive bandages. These products are all available in boxes, trays, and bulk packaging.
